Just bought a gunner. Does anyone else have the 2-1 cobra exhaust on theirs? Any opinions of that exhaust? I'm picking my bike up on Saturday with that installed on it.

And, we added the pillion and backrest for my wife. Anyone else ride 2up on their gunner? What's it like? Any issues I should be aware of?

Just wondering where do they install the foot pegs for the passenger.?

If you remove the side covers, there are two threaded holes going up the frame rail that you simply bolt it into.

Hey Hogey! Congrats on the gunner! I bought mine 500 miles ago and am ready to add a passenger seat so my wife and I can go cruising. Please let us know how it goes for you!

Just took delivery of the bike last night. I haven't smiled on a 40 minute ride in a loooong time! I mean, I was grinning like I just got away with something! The entire time! There are a few things to get used to:
I'm sitting IN the bike, not on it.
The sound of my new exhaust vs. the stealthy silent Triumph I had.
No gas gauge? Wtf? It's a 2015!?!?
Turning at low speed is different with the fat 16" tire vs the thinner 18" tire I had.
I need to figure out what to do about storage. Had a tail bag on a luggage rack and a taller sissy bar before.
The clutch is much tougher. Got stuck on a packed highway down to one lane for 5 miles. Took about 20+ minutes and my hand was killing me. Much different.

I'm happy with the change. I like having my feet flat on the ground. Having a 28" inseam makes it tough on most cruisers- even though they may be low to the ground, their seats are usually wide so on the Triumph with a 27" height, the seat was so wide I could only really flat foot one side and tippy toe the other. This bike, I have to set my feet down gently or it's like I'm trying to put my foot through the asphalt! Not used to that, but very happy about it.

congratulations

gunner's are a nice bike + a good value. as for your quiet exhaust a drill can change that, my TriPro on 13 Hammer baffles were removable, drilling 3, 3/8" holes in the end of the baffle gave a better sound, the cats quiet things as well as add heat. your engine + setup is same as other steel framed cruisers read + learn on the forums as other members will help you spend your $$$, everyone has an opinion but only you need be pleased

Congratulations on your new Vic. Not meaning to rain on your parade, but the best 2-1 pipes for Vics for power are those offered from Bassani, RPW and Conquest Customs. cheers
