Tonight I was looking through a local Free publication that has a assortment of recreation rigs www.RVs recycler.com to include motorcycles. All I'm seeing is a assorted models of Harleys for sale and then I see a 2009Victory Vegas Jackpot for sale by a private owner with 600 miles This just boggles my mind!! And races with thought as to HOW? Now I realize that there could be a list of understandable reasons;Oh there asking 14,000> if ur interested 406-690-8334. I felt compelled to post this cause it drives me crazy when I run across ads like this! CrashTC:crzy:

Possible reasons:
  1. Don't have enough backbone and are giving in to pressure from their Harley "friends"
  2. Bought a new toy and figured out they can't handle it
  3. Travel too much on their job and hate to see such a beutiful machine just sit in the garage
  4. Got transfered overseas
  5. Lost their job and can't afford it
  6. Are having medical issues and can't ride
  7. He found out that "'Do whatever the Hell you want' doesn't mean what I thought" as well (an add posted to sell a 2006 Suzuki 1000 a few years ago)

Don't always take the critical, negative view of things. As was stated there are a number of reasons that this person is selling. We have a member that for medical reasons is selling his bike. I don't know the mileage but thats irrelevant.

Its a 09 but he may have just bought it new. There are a lot of dealers with brand new older bikes on the floor.

How about the person bought a bike, realized it wasn't what they wanted, has plenty of money, bought another bike, and decided to sell it and give someone else a great deal on an almost new bike....

Not sure why this bothers you so much or why your mind races to "HOW?"

Just How This Happens

I guess my thoughts weren't expanded to all the possibilities of having a bike that long of time with only 600 miles;I realize everyone is different and or have different things going on in their life that may have contributed to the low miles; It just hit me....I knew I wanted a victory the first time I heard one go by and then after seeing that model and others in the line-up,every spring I was at the dealership eye'n the new models out.Did that for 3to4 years and when the time/money was right I bought mine.It was 1-5-05 and 25degrees out side and HAPPY to ride it home>>the long way home! didn't mean to stir the pot with you guys! I recently purchased my 2004 vegas with 417 miles on it, the guy just never rode. he had alot of toys.. Nova, 34 ford coupe, etc. he just didnt ride the bike. I got receipts from him totaling 22,000 he paid for the bike after adding exhaust, pass seat and rest and LED trun signals all around. I gave him 6000.00 cash, but ended up having to replace the fuel pump since he left gas in it and it trashed the pump. all in all at time of purchase i was into it for 6500.00 Ive been riding it since 5/30/11, it now has around 2600 miles, its also My first street bike.

Thanks man.
Im not a huge fan of the purple but one day i might have it painted and ghost flames added.

I also didnt mention a in my last post that since i really like the 8 balls, i keep looking at them on craigslist. I missed out by a day on one a few weeks ago, it was a 2008, it had 218 miles on it and the guy wanted 7,000. That was a steal! The guy who bought it might show up here soon.
