Has anyone else have problems with KewlMetal service or waiting for their items?
It has been 3 months to get my highway lights for my XC 2011 and when they finally came in they were poor quality and had to be sent back. it has been 4 months now and I still don't have my lights!
When you call them to find out what is going on their is no one to answer the phone.
Nice looking accessories, only if I could get them...:(:(

KEWL METAL - Lack of Service

I purchased a new 2011 Cross country at the end of December of last year from Locomotion Sports in Suffern NY.
As of yesterday, Monday April 18, 2011 I still do not have my Highway lights. They have told me that when they call Kewl Metal to get a status on delivery of my lights that no one is there to answer the phone. My dealer has called many times. My thought is why should some have to keep calling, and why does it take so long to deliver my lights. My dealer has told me he would never buy from Kewl Metal again because of the lack of service and this experience.

I'll tel you this Vulcanand2, if your lack of reading my response to help you is an indication of the problem you say you have with KM then I suspect you are partly to blame here.
I don't recall asking for your email addy.

I will repeat in large font so you understand.

PM me your info, NAME,PART #, ORDER# and I will call Joe in the morning

Sounds to me like your dealer might not be calling the right number. No one leaves their business phone unattended for MONTHS on end. C'mon now... do you really believe this?

They probably placed an internet order (like you could have done yourself), and never followed up like they are telling you. Or they call an old number that might have changed. Or they are not accounting for a different timezone (Kewlmetal is in AZ), or any other number of possibilities.

You should either call them yourself, or submit the info to Diamond above and he will help you out. In case you're not getting it, he wants to help, but you need to contact him with your info, it's not his job to email you and chase you around for the info... he's trying to help and does not work for Kewlmetal, so he's offering to do YOU a favor... so help him help you.

Also KM answers the phones from 8am - 12noon Arizona time. After that they process orders so they don't answer the phone after 12 noon.

this would be funny if it was not so seriously pathetic.
thanks to the web, some dude that can't respond appropriately to a simple request here in an effort HELP him, yet he has access to the WWW & spout off about how terrible K M is.
i can't imagine having to deal with customers like this....
you are cool to help the guy, even if he doesn't deserve it.
