NEW AND IMPROVED--REALLY! CUSTOM REQUESTS WELCOME TOO!
Here's a cheap and easy way to beautify your beauty - install this attractive, hand crafted license plate holder that flows with the lines of the fender and cases of Cross bikes and other Vic models that have the same recess in the fender. Its strong, light weight and the ONLY ONE with threads for attaching the plate and frame, eliminating the need for those distracting nuts on the fender side. It is made of very sturdy black 1/4" thick ABS with a textured finish that faces the fender to prevent reflections. A built on spacer provides clearance to avoid scratching the fender paint. Also included are the appropriate flush screws to attach the bracket to your fender and four shiny or black screws for securing your plate and frame. Replace that billboard of an OEM bracket with one you'll love.
+ Need a place for an inspection sticker, or have a plate other than 4X7"? Contact me and I will be happy to make a custom bracket to fulfill your needs.
$35 includes free shipping. PayPal, cash, checks or money orders accepted. Custom orders slightly more. If using PayPal, the address is; [email protected] and please use the "Send Money To Friends" choice to avoid fees. Please specify shiny or black screws.
Call 503 771-0525 to order or ask questions. Please note that I'm in the Pacific Time Zone. Call any day from 9am to 10pm my time. Email; [email protected]

A money order or a check will work just fine. I'm avoiding PayPal cuz they hit me up for a few bucks and I don't have the wiggle room for that. Email me at [email protected] to get my address and thanks for you interest. thumb up

Got 'em finished and ready to ship. Those with nice new Cross bikes don't want that upright Vic bracket spoiling that pretty bike's lines. See post #1 for the cheapest and most effective appearance improvement available.

Alrighty then RICZ. Pop is in.

I can take or leave laydown but the threaded inserts is styling big time. Whittle down my SS bolts for a flush mount and that's four less bits on my to do list to pretty up.

Email on the way.

It is now my friend. You had me at "insert" which is not a word that ever worked for me when I was using it to impress the fairer sex.

Then we won't be discussing the intricacies of male and female threads anytime soon, eh?

Thanks for your order SO. I was looking at a photo of my XR before I came up with that bracket and I could not believe that Ma Vic would go to all that trouble to produce a beautiful and uniquely designed bike and then stick it with a shiny, vertical license plate holder. Maybe it's another federal standard they have to obey. Fortunately, for us, they provided a way to correct that. Maybe that was intentional, you think?

Another batch of laydown brackets is hot off the press! See post #1 for all the gory details. They go fast at only $35 including shipping, so act fast.
They fit Cross bikes and any that have the same notch for the license in the rear fender.

I'll be telling a friend about this one =)
How about one for your bike? You'll love the result if you still have that billboard of an OEM bracket. thumb up

Do you think these self locking screws will fit that bracket ? I use these on my factory bracket.

Go to post #1 and there you will find that my bracket comes with four 1/4-20 female threaded inserts. There is no clearance for nuts of any kind on the two bottom screws. I also furnish the appropriate screws to mount the bracket to the fender. I could not have made my bracket more complete or easier to install.thumb up
