So I ordered a set of these Cree LED Lights I knew I was rolling the dice but it worked out. Decent price and they are pretty bright.

I used a switch that fit in the space on the XC dash, but I don't like it so I ordered both the heated grip and driving switch from Victory. I figured if I have to disassemble the dash again I'm only gonna it one more time. What a PITA !

I also installed a powerblock inside the fairing. Note: I have not tied it all up in this photo.

Now my horn and lights have fuses and the circuits are on the block which is fused and I can still add 4 more fused circuits.

I decided to mount the lights off the lower mount for the chin fairing using longer bolts and a spacer. I fabbed up the brackets and squirted some paint on them. If they work and I like them, I'll fab up the final brackets. I tend to prototype on the fly. ;)

So far so good, I got them aimed last night and the lights are more of a flood not a spot but they do light it up well. I didn't take pics last night...sorry...I think they work really well for daytime driving lights/making me more conspicuous at night.

I think I'll find some small round LED driving spots and mount them up next to or under/top of these. My goal is to look like a UFO out there. Seriously...I want people to go WTF is that that?

Looks clean to me! And the attention grabbing will make people aware of you. Hopefully it won't be like a bug toward light though.

A question I have installed LED lights on my XCT and I have problems with the FM interference and my Radio (FM signal) is useless. Do you have any problems with the lights that you have installed?

I don't know. I rarely turn on the radio. I'll check and let you know.

I had the same problem and I added ferrite beads to each light which I picked up at Radio Shack for about $3 and they just snap on, and the mechanic moved my antenna wire away from the light wires and that has improve reception greatly. I am able to pick up the station farther away then before.

I did the same, as the matter of fact beside the Ferrites, and some toroid rings, I also disconnected the lights from the AUX plug behind the faring and connected them straight to the battery, just to have the wires away from any antenna wires, and nothing, if they are on, no FM radio, as soon as they are disconnected FM radio comes alive again.

Led circuitry creates pulse width modulation which can block FM. Purchase a ferrite choke with a range of 1Mhz-300Mhz and place it on the wiring of the led's as close to the light as possible, this should resolve your issue

That's the same lights thumb up ! I almost mounted them to the bars, I have the clamps. I decided to go where I did...for now ;) That may change depending how much light they shed on the road.
I dig how you mounted yours.
