I've done a lot of searching on here regarding lowering the bike. I've determined that my wire harness did not need to be moved because it is not mounted in the center as most other bikes are, it's already mounted on the side. Looking at my belt cover, it didn't appear that I would be rubbing there either as some of the older bikes did because of the new style cover. BUT my belt is rubbing. Only on bumps with 2 up. I could hear an unusual noise so when I stopped I took a look around and noticed the rub marks on the backside of the belt. You can see the mark on the left part of the belt...at least I got my belt adjusted to track properly so I have no more noise from that. thumb up I took a peek inside the cover and found what its rubbing on. The belt cover gasket! The gasket dips down about a quarter inch or so but the weird thing is, there is no bolt at that spot, just some extra gasket material. I'm going to pull the exhaust off next weekend so I can get the cover off then trim that piece of gasket off. I'd take a pic of the gasket but I can't get my camera in a good enough position. My first look at the mark it was a real crisp line going down the backside of the belt at about 1/16" wide. It's not as defined now and a bit wider, the gasket material is starting to bend over to the side.
