Interesting. I read the eBay auction talking (Marketing) points. But in reality, if someone swapped this one for my oem voltage regulator and didn't tell me, would I notice anything? An oem voltage regulator is around $180 online so even if this one works 'as good' as the oem unit, it costs less.

Fyi, RMStator is a Canadian company. Pretty well known here in Canada and on some other forums for good quality stators and regulators. I'd buy one as a spare in a heartbeat from them.

Good info, thank you! Fortunately the eBy auction shows this shipping from Norton, VT. That's a good thing as shipping in and out of Canada is very expensive.
