Has anyone tried Motul 5100 oil? Would it be ok? It is a semi-synth.

I've the disadvantage of not being able to find Victory or Amsoil in China, but Motul is widely available.

Thanks.

Hi Paul - thanks for your very fast reply! 谢谢 thumb up

I was hoping that Mobil 1 would be available in China (and it is), but apparently not the V-twin formulation. By the way, if anyone is curious about the source for many products, here is the Chinese equivalent of eBay (called taobao). The prices are in Chinese RMB - roughly divide by 7 for the US$ price.

Do you think any of those might be appropriate?

There is a Harley dealership close by that sells its oil, of course, but from what I have read on this forum, it seems that it might not be a good idea?

Again, thanks guys!

Pics will be posted when I get a proper image hosting account - sorry.

The V-Twin formula is a 20W-50. 40 is the recommended oil for the Vic... The oil doesn't know what # of cylinders there are or in what configuration.

Mobil 1 Racing 4T will work just fine.
