I am looking for a set of Ness Fly Bars that fit a 04 Vegas. I found a set part# 2875165 but they are not on the fitment chart on Pure Polaris. Why is it that 04 bars will fit 05,06,07...etc but 05,06,07...etc bars won't fit the 04? And I don't have to have the Fly bars maybe another brand, I just like the t-bar style. Any suggestions?

Yes, they will fit, but you might have to get a new, longer brake line (which is also listed on the Pure Polaris site). You might be able to cheat and re-route the line to get some extra length, but I have not tried this.

Just an FYI - 2003 and later (with the exception of the Vision and Cross Roads/Cross Country) handlebars are all interchangeable. They all have the same riser spacing. So if you wanted pullbacks, drags, flys, or whatever, you can swap them out.
