Hello to all, from a novice member from Nova Scotia.
I'm usually not much for joining groups, never wanted to be in any organization that would have the likes of me as a member.
On my 4th year of riding again after being away from bikes for way too long (30 years). Had several bikes starting back in the 60s with a Honda Trail 90, through Yamahas, Triumphs, Kawas & other rice burners, BMW & of course HD.
My 14 XC Super Steel is exactly what I need now and is the platform I'll build onto for the future. I rode just about everything out there before deciding.
The first year back I put on 11,000 km and have riding more and going on longer trips every year since.
Just a little introduction so you all know a little about the old fool you now have in your company
I won't always be on line (having a life) and I won't always reply, but I will from time to time be watching, learning & asking stupid questions.
Just thought you should know .......

Thanks
If you ever come down east, let me know.
We Bluenosers have some sights to be seen, too.
Maybe I'll get to your coast before I get too old.
Thanks again

Welcome fellow Canuk from the Ottawa area.
East coast is one of my favorite places to be.
I just retired a few months ago and I want to do PEI and Cabot Trail this summer.
You are right when you say that you have lots of sights out there.
Enjoy the forum.

Wife and I are planning a trip out East in 2017. She has brothers in Ontario as well as PEI. Hoping to do a 4 month trip returning via various points in the USA; however, that might change some depending on the state of the Loonie.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Worked on the road for 15 years covering the Maritimes.
No main or back road I haven't traveled in NB, NS or PEI.
If you need tips, advice or even pictures, let me know.
Happy to share.
Hope to message with you all, and maybe even ride someday.
Thanks again,
Scotia Bob ( my alias when not 5748bob )
