Went fro a BMW KT1200LT to a 2013 XCT last August for the lower seat and center of gravity. A lot more comfortable ride for the rider. After 2,500 miles my only complaints might be the gas gauge appears to drop quickly below a half tank and computer miles remaining disappears when the low fuel light comes on. The heat the V-twin throws off on a hot day seems excessive (great on cool days tho..). And the engine, transmission noises seem extreme.
Overall I am very happy and consider it the best bike I have ever owned.

Welcome from another W. WA rider. I also am new to the V-Twin game. First thing I did was burn my right leg when I put it down. Being a sportbike rider I've a lot to learn and I'm not used to the heat yet.
