I'm a new member… I've basically been researching the forums for a while but haven't posted yet. I'm from the Pittsburgh, PA area and ride a 2006 Victory Hammer. I bought the bike used and the previous owner did some upgrades. It has a stage 1 but the previous owner did not get a new full exhaust system. I believe he may have done stage 1 mufflers (does that sound right??) when he originally bought the bike.

Upgrades I'm looking to do in the near future:

- RPW Slip Sticks (don't have the money to do the flu pipes right now and hate the way the mufflers look)
*** HAS ANYONE HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THESE? They are the only slip ons I have found that give a more sleek appearance than the big stock mufflers.

- Fuel controller

Thanks for having me in the group. I hope to learn as much as possible.

Typo above...
"Full pipes". Not flu. Nobody wants the flu.

"Right now" sounds like you are going to get the RPW now and the the full system later. I would recommend you wait till you can get the full system if that is the case. Otherwise it's more money out of your pocket.

Always wait and get what you really want. Otherwise you will have that feeling that something is missing and yearn for more when you look at your bike.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I appreciate the advice too.

The exhaust I really want to have are the Hacker Rippers. They are priced appropriately but they are out of my price range. I used the phrase "right now" because I'm waiting to hear on a new job I applied for which will allow me to have more wiggle room financially. With my current job I don't see me being able to save enough for what I want any time soon.
