Welcome and congratulations on buying a wonderful bike. Where do you call home?
There are things to know that are unique to Victorys, such as checking the oil level with the bike vertical. Even though there is no center stand. Read the owners manual thoroughly. A few things the manual doesn't cover...
+ Tire air; 40 psi front, 42 rear.
+ When airing up the rear shock, consider your riding gear and the crap in the cases when reading the chart in the case lid.
+ Air up the rear shock using only an air shock pump. Never use compressor air.
+ When starting, hold the throttle open 1/8 turn and do not release the starter until the engine is running.
+ Warm the engine for at least one minute before taking off--gently.
+ Place lock washers under the battery bolts as they have a tendency to loosen and cause electrical problems. Check those bolts often for tightness.
+ Check the clutch cable adjustment frequently. And adjust per the manual.
When questions come up, ask away. We are here to help you out of your money.
