Least expensive performance upgrade would be an Adjustable Timing System from Lloyd'z (LLOYD'Z: Adjustable Timing system, LLOYD'Z Motorworkz) with Gasket (LLOYD'Z: Cam Cover Gasket, LLOYD'Z Motorworkz)

LLoyd'z High-Flow Air Filter (LLOYD'Z: XC/XR High-Flow Air Filter, LLOYD'Z Motorworkz)

Maybe a 1/4 turn throttle ring (LLOYD'Z: Quarter-turn Throttle Ring, LLOYD'Z Motorworkz)

Slip-on exhausts. Many, many to choose from with a wide range of opinions.

Good resources (and members of this forum)

Welcome and enjoy the bike!

Btw...if you start messing with the amount of air you take in, you should look into a Power Commander. You don't want to mess up that bike!

Absolutely right on there. I forgot that. PCV is crucial and then a good dyno-tune.
