I recently inherited a 99 v92c from my grandfather who passed away this summer. The bike has been sitting for about 8 or 9 years! But ran great when parked. He had upgraded to a vision and hadn't been riding the v92 any more. I'm pretty good with working on bikes, but all my experience is with vintage jap bikes. So this is a whole new experience for me. I was looking for some advice as to what all to go through and check as I clean her up and tune it up this winter. Obviously I will change the oil, spark plugs and gas. I think the front forks are due for a rebuild see to be leaking a little oil. Any help and input would be hugely appreciated!! Thanks in advance.

My grandpa actually had the entire original service manual in a binder that I found which is going to be loads of help I'm sure.

Ya for sure planning a new battery and some fresh white walls. Does anyone know if they make a conversion to foot pegs instead of the floorboards?
