Just purchased a 2007 Victory Vegas 8-ball. Looking for ways to add storage and wind protection without ruining the look. I wan a smallish wind deflector and hard bags. Looking for what will work well. Yes, I have search the forum several times. Seen several pics.

Stock hard bags are the best looking IMO, while the cost is high new ($900+) you can usually score them for sub $500 on some forums marketplaces and ebay.

Windshield- Im in the same boat, been looking hard at a fly-screen. Anything bigger looks like crap IMO.

Anyone got the National-Cycle one i listed above on a vegas 8-ball? reviews or images?

Maybe not..

From a website i found..

Fly Screen? In your mouth!!
By botflyguy from louisiana on 4/17/2010
Pros:
Easy To Install, Tough
Motorsports:
Casual Rider
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Flyscreen implies to me it should deflect small bugs up over and away from you. Not so. The air flow hits you directly in the mouth no matter how you adjust this thing. Full face helmet may be ok, but a half helmet will have your lips flapping in the airflow with all bugs directed at your food hole! Looks cool, but I wouldn't buy it again if I knew what I know now.

Welcome to the Victory Forums.

A few helpful pointers,

  • Please take the time to read the “Sticky” threads in the “Victory Forums Rules and New Members Introductions” forum. This will help you out a LOT with the Victory Forums.

  • The Search feature is your friend! You will find the answers to a lot of your questions by using it.

  • If you are asking questions that are of a technical/mechanical/electrical/performance nature, please place them in the “Victory Tech and Performance” forum. This will speed up a response. Placing them in the model specific forum can delay a response.
Please add the year and model of your bike to your signature, so we know how to help when you ask a question!

Welcome!

I am pretty new, too. Have an '09 Vegas Premium Low. I added a midsize quick release windshield (which has saved me from a lot of bugs and buffeting but which I am still deciding whether or not I like) and the Kingpin hard bags with ghost bobbin attachments - also easily removable with the turn of a key. See pics in my Photobucket link below.
