Hey everyone! Glad to join team victory! Bought a 2001 v92c deluxe 1500. I love it so far. Taking it on a 700 mile trip next weekend to Erie PA. I am 25 and have been riding for 4 years now. Have owned smaller japanese bikes in the past. Feels good to go American!
Any other Victory riders in the Toledo Ohio Area?

Make sure you lube the clutch cable up at the clutch lever. Do it once a month to prevent the cable from breaking. WD-40 or what ever you like

It will definitely help. If it's not lubed, it ends up twisting in the lever and causes fatigue. As long as it can rotate easily in the lever, that should reduce breakage at the lever.

So breakage is mainly at the lever? What I needed to know. The vegas I'm getting has factory installed bars and owner said he thinks cables were changed out but I will lube soon as I get it home. Thanks

I'd rather be pro-active than reactive!
