I hope I am posting this in the correct place. If I am not I'm sure someone will correct me soon. On the 3rd of this month I purchased my new Vegas. Along with it I ordered my parts listed in my signature from my dealer who ordered them through Lloydz. Aparently in the rush to get to the AVR Lloyd threw in the wrong parts. They are for a 2007. Now my dealer is telling me that S&S does not make an air box for 2011 (which I know they do I have the part number). Also that the VFC III is supposedly for a 2007 as well. Whats going on here? He went on to tell me that they are ordering me an airbox and fuel controller from Ness. Are these Ness components going to give the same results as the components I actually ordered and paid for? I also noticed that the Ness components are cheaper than what I paid for but I know there will be no refund. Thats another story. Thanks in advance for the info guys.

I would call Lloydz directly. They will have a record of what they sent and to whom. Sounds like the wrong parts might have been ordered in the first place.

You should get what you paid for and not something else without consulting you and getting your ok first. And certainly refund the difference if you do go with the alternate, less expensive, parts.

Your dealer might be confused or doesn't want to order from Lloyds because I have VFC III and S&S airbox on my 2011 hammer 8-ball. I would order from Lloyds directly and skip dealer

I would love to go directly through Lloyd. However when I bought the bike I asked them to get the parts I wanted thinking they were good to go because I bought my last bike from them. Now they said if I wanted to order on my own thats fine but they weren't giving me my money back. Pretty crappy in my opinion. How does your Hammer run? Pretty good I'll bet.

Hammer runs great with those add ons. I can understand about not getting your money back but I bet they could return that stuff to Lloyds for a refund...they just don't want to! They would not get my business again
