:mad:Friday I purchased a XCT, while doing the paperwork the salesman said that the dealership are still sorting out things to get the Indian Franchise. This to me said that things were all OK and Polaris product dealer network here in Western Australia was expanding.
Today (Monday) I walk in to the Victory dealer I purchased the XCT from. I went to the Parts desk to get oil and filter which they went and got, then I asked for a Plastic pin that the flaps to control wind/air flow on the bottom of the fairing pivot/hinge on and the reply was I would need to source that from east because they were no longer a Victory Dealer as of Friday(the day I purchased)
Needless to say I was somewhat surprised, angry and generaly not happy with this developement.
I believe something should have been said on Friday, that support for the product from the dealer I purchased the bike from would be limited.
Any way I rang east (Sydney) and explained the situation and he said he would look into it, a bloke from Melbourne rang and is looking into the situation and will get back to me. I was told Melbourne Sydney and Brisbane are owned by the same people and sell Primarily Polaris products unlike the WA Dealer which is a Independent and sells 7 different brands.
Anyway we will see where I need to go to get parts in the future, I cant say that I want to deal with this mob in Perth anymore.wac
I'm born and bred in the west but sometimes I wonder why I hang around when I see what services available elsewhere.
Anyway fingers are crossed that Victory sort out their dealer issues here in the west sooner than latter. Meanwhile I'm still a very happy XCT Owner:D

I once put a deposit down on a all new model of R1 at a dealer that I had bought 3 Yamahas at previously and that wanker didn't tell me he had lost his Yamaha dealership either. I found out a couple of weeks later at the motorcycle show and was told by Yamaha. Seems dealers are willing to sell anything to make a buck.

Yes Polaris own the Sydney, Melbourne and Brissy shops, so not dealers. It's only a matter of time before they are in Perth, but I wouldn't hold your breath Bluey- location is paramount and that takes time and money to find.
