Is there any reason that the existing oil cooler on an '01 v92c couldn't be moved to where it is on the newer models, or replaced with the new style all together?

Why? Your bike will never overheat, so why would you want a bigger oil cooler? You can ride it at parade pace in the middle of the desert and it won't overheat. HD's on the other hand... well, we won't go there. :ltr:

While CrossRoads makes a bold statement about "never" overheating, Victory did downsize the amount of oil and reduce the size of the oil cooler to make the bikes warm up faster. I would think without thermostats or fans the oil cycles through a big range of temps from maximum cooling to idling for long periods, but these seem to fall in an acceptable range. It would be interesting to see the oil temp immediately after a stop and watch how fast and how high it will get.
