I got a trailer to pull behind my '09 ice blue Vision.
Wondering what preparation is needed to paint the matching victory blue to the top.
What primer is recommended for this surface and under vic paint?

Id recommend sanding with some 320 or 400 until its fairly smooth, then follow with Epoxy paint for adhesion. Then follow with whatever primer you choose for filling and blocking.

wouldn't epoxy paint/primer be hard? This plastic is very flexible.
Thinking it (the epoxy) would crack easily ???

You prep with adhesion promoter after final sanding. I painted a fairing and saddle bags and they came out great and the paint was durable.
Yep, adhesion promoter (plastic primer), you can also put a little flex-add in the paint if the part is quite flexible.
If you want to retain the texture finish you're probably not gonna want to sand it too much or even at all.
When I paint plastic I wipe the plastic over quickly with a clean rag with GP thinners on it, softens the plastic a bit and lets the adhesion promotor 'bite' the plastic
