Last week I noticed that the right highway peg (I have the forged chrome bars with the pegs and mounts that bolt to the bars (P/N 2877367) bolt holding the peg was very loose and I almost lost the peg. I tightened up the bolt but the peg was still very loose. Got home and realized that a compression washer was now missing on that side (it is "D" shaped). Called my local Victory dealer but they had no clue what I was talking about. Should I just get a lock washer from the local hardware store or how can I get someone to find the actual part to replace it? Thanks in advance for the assist.

Try contacting Kuryakyn. I think they are the actual manufacturer of the peg and mount. I know the D washer you speak of. The D shape aids in the peg staying in the extended or retracted position. You might be able to dissassemble the other peg, snap a pic of the D washer on the other side and send that to Kuryakyn.
