Just info for you that have them. I purchased them when I bought the bike. Dealer put on the right hand side for me. Just didn't wanna do it. After this, I started noticing that the pin holding the actual floorboard on was backing out. I started carrying a hammer knocking it back in until I could get to dealership. I stopped at Sloan's in Murfreesboro, TN. They put a C clip on it. I told the advisor I did not think that was going to work. He reassured me...yea! I went on that Sat ride with my wife, it was fine. I went on a Vet ride on Sunday, got home and floorboard was GONE!! Starter went out the same day. Sloan's covered starter and floorboard after me bitchin about them installing it and bought when bought bike. Got back last Thursday. Looked down Tuesday........Pin was backing out again. I took out and drilled a hole through the end of it and put in a cotter pin. Just a heads up to check your floorboard retaining rings!!!! My right side is holding fine but I'm still going to drill it out. Hope no one else has had this happen.

And when I got my bike back, they had scratched the **** out of my tank. Just a little bit of info for you all in the Nashville area.

No excuse for the tank. I think I'd demand a new tank, but that's easy for me to say -- I don't have to deal with them.

Regarding the passenger floorboards on XCTs, that has been discussed in a few threads here. I have a picture and a caption discussing this problem and its solutions as part of my gallery, in this particular picture: http://www.billanddot.com/victory-xct/#28

Stand you ground and tell them about your gas tank.

It seams like all floor board pins fall out. I think its cause the pin doesn't have a deep enough grove in it. Or it does before they chrome it and then its gone.

Say take you bike to a auto detailer and ask them to buff it out could be better then new

Here is a trick. You want the flat head of the pin facing forward.
That way if you loose the c clip the pin will not slide out.

Mine started backing out on the ride home from buying bike. I tried to put an e clip on it but the grooves are to shallow. I contacted dealer to send me clips and they are special spring clips, very easy to install but seems that not all bikes come with them on from factory or dealers are not puting them on when putting bikes together.
