Hello guys. I'm new. Loving my vision 8 ball. I have a power commander 5 and Arlen ness big honkers on it and was wondering if anyone else who has a 106 motor with the similar set up has ever had their PC5 dyno and tuned to pump out power. If so I would like to see how it is mapped out so that I may match it on my own. Any help or advise would be great.

And p.s. Is it really important to pull of the wire to the O2 sensors once the PC5 is on? It said to unplug them but said they were not going to be used so I just left them. Does it conflict with the tuner?

So, it said to unplug them, but you're wondering if it's okay to do the complete opposite? Well then, why not add two more O² sensors, so you have two for each pipe? :ltr: Given that most folks who follow directions have them removed, you shouldn't have a hard time finding two more. :crzy:

P.S.: Just in case someone decides to read this the wrong way and wonder if extra O² sensors are a good thing, I will clarify that the above paragraph is nothing more than a sarcastic remark. Remove the O² sensors as if they were a tumor growing on your forehead. cheers

You might consider getting the Auto Tune with the wide band sensors in which case you will be using O2 sensors. :)

Otherwise; just unplug them. You can leave them in the pipe or replace them with plugs if that was your question.

Ok I'll just try to unplug them then. Directions just were not clear. Could have been "unplug them because they are not used at all for anything" or "unplug them because they will screw with the new tuner."

Thanks though.

The sensors are there to help your bike stay as lean as possible in its stock form. But since you're putting a fuel controller, the PC-V, it's useless to have the O² sensors connected. Even folks with stock setups end up disconnecting the O² sensors (myself included) as running on the leanest limit isn't healthy in the long run. So you should've disconnected them already, just so the bike runs a little better, and you would have no reason to reconnect them when the PC-V goes on.

Not sure if they would hurt being plugged in with the PC-V, but I'm positive they will not help. thumb up

They would hurt being plugged in because they will continue to adjust the ECU A/F map shooting for lean condition. You won't have a nice stable baseline to tune from.

Thanks guys. By the way, how do you remove them? Thought the wire would unclip from the sensor but no go. Should I just remove the entire sensor and plug it or does the wire disconnect from somewhere else, or do I just need to cut the wire?

Ah yes thank you for that. Did that just now at work. Already can hear and see a difference. I actually used a hammer s performance map so now it's too rich. Will have to back to the right one from dynojet.

What about if you just do the stage 1 level 1? Is it necessary to unplug the O2 sensors or does the ECM flash set up work better with them still plugged in?
Will the bike run better with the stage 1 level 1 and a different fuel/air regulator (PC5 or Lloyds)?
