Hi everyone. I have a 2011 CC mod mufflers and air filter mod. I asked dealer about what I should do about re-maping and he was not a lot of help. What PCV will work on this bike and what is the install like

Actually John...the PCV is the Power Commander V,,,this is the one I have on my Vegas with the Auto tune module....if you don't plan on any other Mods to your bike you can have the dealer re-map your bike (if not already done)....

I Love it !!! Ido not know much about Power Commanders except they are a good product but can be a little complicated. I called Arlen Ness a few weeks ago and they gave me the P/N 18-627 Arlen Ness Big Shot 2 Fuel Controler for my X/C. Must be pretty new because it was not listed on their web sight yet. Plus the dealer did not have that P/N yet either. Its a plug and play system. Took the dealer about 45 min to install. As of now I'm very pleased with it. I chose it over the flash in case I want to do some engine mods latter. Bike has noticeable improved throttle responce with the 3 mods of exhaust, air filter, and fuel controler.

Dynamap makes one (the Power commander), Lloyds markets one(the VFC) Ness markets one(Fuel Big Shot)....and among those there are about 3 or 4 models.....:crzy:

I have hear the flash is not worth it.
Buy one of the fullers it will do more for you and it can grow with you

There are posts comparing the different makes and models.....personally I went with the Power Commander V with the Auto tune module.....paid a little more but it will do more as well...

After it did the auto tune thing did you remove the O2sensors and plug them?

No...that's where the sensors for the auto tune go....the bike will automatically adjust for the way I ride.....wac

The Arlene Ness Big Shot 2 also has a simular feature as it also hooks up to O2 sensors and advertises that the only time you have to make adjustments on it is if you modify engine. Other than that it is supose to adjust for loads and elevation and temperature changes. But the Power Comander I heard you could make some realy precise adjustments for top performance if you realy want to fine tune your engine.

Personally I would go with the Power Commander. While its more expensive it is the best and easiest way to get your bike dialed in.

THe other good thing is if you decide to do modifications like cams you already have a good tuner and PC will send you maps if necessary.

im trying to narrow this same thing down on my bike so please keep up posted. ive come up with the vfc3 with lloyds cams he can get good results. the pcv with autotune isnt in new york and its more money.

I am in NY and I have the PCV with Auto-tune.....Might go with the cams next year...but put enough $$$$ into it for this year....thumb up

Lets make things realy interesting. Lloyds and Arlen Ness Tuners are both made by Dobeck Performance Manufactures. I guess that both send Dobeck their own settings. Dobeck will provide Tech assistance for Arlen Ness Big Shot if needed, if you can't get the results you want from Arlen Ness. ( Arlen Ness was helpful with mine with questions, Dobeck was helpful with the dealer with an instal question. ) I believe Lloyds would be just as helpful or more seeing he has hands on experience with just about all aspects of Victory Power Trains.
I'm not trying to push any one product, just trying to give as much info as I know so that a person can make an informed decision of what he is looking to achieve with how much he wants to spend.
