I have a motorcycle dolly that uses a ProMax wheel chock.

When the bike is rolled into the chock, a lever flips up behind the wheel to securely hold the bike into the chock. It works great and the bike is very secure in the chock, but it's hard to get the bike out of the chock. I have to yank hard on the bars, grab the front brake when the front wheel is at the apex of the chock, the yank hard on the bars again to get the front wheel fully out of the chock. I'm concerned with our rubber-mount bars that this hard yanking is going to damage the mounts over time. Any thoughts?

I have to do that mildly on occasion when I unload the bike from my trailer. It has Baxley trailer chocks in it. The problem may be in the adjustment of chock with regards to the size of the front tire. Check that out.

Does the pivot need to be moved back one setting (one hole)?
