I found the fairing on Kijiji (like Craigslist) for $50.00 and attached it to the forks using p-clamps like the ones below.

I couldn't find black bolts and nuts, so I tried painting them. They didn't stay black very long.

Looks nice. Like the way it wraps the headlight. Better looking than the Superfly Mini Shield.

It's a Maier Large Round Cafe Fairing. It does relieve *some* wind off the chest, but it doesn't eliminate it like my 21" fairing with lowers did on my Vulcan. If you want that level of protection you'll need a big shield. I'm happy with both the look and the protection it does supply. I can also put a plastic bottle in the right side and it doesn't fall out. I just drove 75 miles with a bottle of Gatorade tucked in there.

Is your headlight round?

I would consider this fairing... looks good.
Thanks! I had wanted the actual Ness fairing, but found out I'd have to replace my headlight with the 5 1/2" one, and rig up a mounting system anyhow. I figured I'd go a little less expensive and see if I liked the look before spending a ton of money.

bullet fairing

Hey Clicker, you were the reason I started looking at fairings. The new color looks great by the way.
I went with the bullet fairing and had it painted to match the bike.

That looks pretty sharp. I actually didn't like mine so much when it was all painted to match the bike lol. So off it went.

Oh well, $50 spent not such a big deal.

Looks good! I actually just saw one of these on a Judge. The bike was painted orange and the fairing painted to match...didn't care for it. This arrangement in black, works...
