Hey guys my fuel pump has decided it no longer wants to work so its time for a replacment. Has anyone used the Quantum replacment kit? I ordered one last night but am a little leery about it. Seems like a good kit but the filter and hose is what I'm worried about. I've read a few good things about them but it was for the steel frame bikes and haven't been able to find much for the Cross bikes and they are 2 different kits. Just wondering if I should just go with OEM parts or not but a fuel pump is over $400 and the kit on Victorys Only was 78 shipped so I thought it might be worth a shot. One more question, is the pump seal reuseable or should I get a new one and repalce it also?

I'm not sure the verdict is in on the Quantum pumps.
If it was an 02-08 you could have the pump rebuilt by Rylan Vos at The Vic Shop but that isn't an option for your 15.

Yeah I've called Rylan and am waiting on him to call back. I think I might wait and see how the kit looks and if I dont like it I'll just order a new pump from the dealer near me.
This guy seems happy with this his Quatum vs OEM fuel pump.
Since it's not a big job to swap pumps; I'd say go for it and see how it does. We need folks to step up and try these things to find out if they work long term.

This one caught my eye because it has Japanese parts. My personal experience has been Japanese parts are generally better than Chinese although it's not written in stone. Many times Japanese parts are better than American made parts. It didn't use to be that way but it is now and probably has been for at least 30 years IMHO. YMMV. FWIW.

Out of interest how many miles did you get out of the original fuel pump and how many times did you run low on fuel?
also how many times has the filter been changed and at what mileage?

Update to all... Rylan from The Vic Shop got back to me and he recommended a OEM replacement on the cross bikes. And says he doesn't rebuild them ever. So with that said I'm going to take his advise and I have ordered a new one from Polaris. I know its not a big deal to swap out but getting stranded again doesn't seem fun.
I'm kinda bummed out it died cause there's just over 17k on it for milage and I very rarely run it low but I bought it used and have no clue how it was ridden before me. I have only seen the low fuel lignt twice since owning it.
So sorry to all but I will not be the guinea pig on this one. But thanks for all the responces, oh and I was able to pick up a pump for $330 after looking a bit more. And it includes a new filter so that's nice of them ?.

Yea I got 2 more filters in the garage. Wherever I found them they were longer than OEM but work. I just doubled it over and put a small zip tie thru end to hold it folded over. I either couldnt find single filters or it was just as cheap to order 3. But I got a spare if someone needs one.
My friend EV bought one off Amazon and the fuel pressure regulator was set wrong. He contacted Quantum and they sent him a new one and recalibrated future units. He is happy with his, although he just sold the bike, due to mileage. He rides to work daily, plus weekends, so he put 20k on that pump, easy.
