That's compatible to my Indian. 75 mph = 2675 rpm, 80 mph = 2850 rpm.

I'm right with BBob plus agree with the too slow part. The 106 doesn't like to run low RPMs and 2500 and is a good place to keep it while cruising. Trying to accellerate hard from below 2500 rpm is much less effective than at or over 2500. These big V's prefer to spin and much to the dismay of many don't jiggle your body fat away while idling!

So true... I've gained 15 lbs since trading my HD for my Vision!!!

If you're cruising down the highway in cruise drive at 75 mph, what's your tach reading?
Well not knowing what your asking about car truck boat or bike
I'm say around 3 thousand on my lawn more
