I have a 2009 Vegas and I was wondering if there is any such thing as a "quick release" passenger seat for this model? I've searched this forum, other forums and many online parts sites.
Since I'm not finding anything, I assume there isn't such a thing, but just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

The bike came with a nice comfy passenger seat and back rest, but the first thing I did was take it off because I love how it looks with out it. Now that my kids are getting older and want to go for rides,
I take it on and off a lot during the summer. It's not hard to put on, but always takes a few minutes and I'm always afraid I'll nick the paint somehow or eventually wear the threads out.

I quick release system of some sort would be great...but I think I know what the answer will be...thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick replies. Even though there might not be factory options...good to know there are at least a few other options

I tried one of these stick on "pussy pads" when I first bought my Vegas , it was solo seat then, first passenger I told her to come over and bring her favourite pillow to sit on the rear fender.
The pussy pad was an improvement on that but the next bird I took riding was actually reduced to tears after 40 miles, even though Id rigged up some accessory chopper footpegs attached to the frame rails.
She forgave me but swore not to come riding till I got a better seat.
those "pussy pads" are designed for one purpose, to get her straight home to the bedroom from the local bar!
Definitly not any distance riding!
I ended up buying off ebay the seat you now have, the touring version with a bit more padding, coupled with its backrest it can be on or off in 5 minutes if youre handy with tools, probably even quicker to remove with battery wrench.
Since buying that seat in over 5 years never had any conplaints about the seating and had quite a few different ladies on there for successful rides.
The only seating they like better is the Cross Country with backrest, though for a hot date I prefer the Vegas as is puts them in behind nice n tight and within reach, wheras with the Cross Country they may as well be in the back of a ute(pickup) .
Edit....my last comment is probably a bit extreme...with the right lady the XC can be fun too.
