I have never changed bearings on anything before so this is my first experience. I successfully removed the old wheel bearings out of the rear and I am in the process of putting the new ones in and I have this question.

When I start installing the second bearing and pressing it into place it obviously will stop when it makes contact with the spacer that’s inside the wheel. But won’t this cause the inner race of the bearing to rub against the spacer? Is that a problem? If so what am I missing?

Ha! I guess all I can do now is laugh. Yes I feel dumb.

Next question: do the bearing seals need to be flush with the outer hub? Im afraid I seeted them a little too deep? Or doesn’t matter?
