Long story short, I swapped the clutch plates on my Scorpion yesterday, and the clutch is awesome again. Took it for a ride to test, about 15 minutes. Problem is that the rubber seal on the stator wire isn't seated properly, and oil is leaking out. So I'll have to take the cover off again to reseat it.

My question is do I have to replace the gasket again, or is it safe to reuse after the one ride??

Not a fan of burning $50 for a gasket if I can avoid it.

You won't know for sure until you take the cover off. I can say I reused my original gasket after removing the primary cover within a year of buying the XC which I bought new so I'd say your chances are good of being able to reuse it.

It's a James Gasket, so I should be good. Thanks for the input all. The wife and I will get her on the lift tomorrow.

Here is what I looked like yesterday
