Posting this as an FYI in case someone here didn't see this yet. At a 137 tq; this thing would be a Harley eater. :D Be great in something light like a Hammer, Gunner, or Kingpin.

Victory 117" Bolt-On Big Bore Kits Now Available!

Victory made one heck of a motorcycle and the aftermarket largely ignored it. Maybe because it was so good stock?

Revolution Performance knows how good the 106” Victory is and that with just a little more displacement, how great it could be! The new Revolution Performance 117” Victory Big Bore Kit increases the standard bore for 101mm to 108mm yielding a new displacement of 117”. When combined with our CNC Head Port, Exhaust and Tuning we have seen gains of more than 30hp and 17ft-lbs of torque.

The 117” Victory Big Bore kit is a service kit, which means we strip, bore, and plate your stock cylinders with our proprietary (NSC) Nickel Silicon Carbide plating process and ship them back with a set of perfectly matched forged pistons, wrist pins, clips, and complete gasket kit for $1674.95. CNC head modifications, exhaust and tuners are available for additional cost.

$2182 Australian plus shipping to and fro plus bank fees.....forget what mine cost but it sounds keenly priced and ya wind up with Re- Nikasilled bores....cool....sounds hot!
Mines already done but...so not an issue.

I've been anxious to see if this was going to be a reality of not. Polaris announced they killed Victory very shortly after these guys made one of their first announcements. So yea, I'm very excited about this and will certainly consider it. So this kit, head work, exhaust and 'tuning'. Maybe enlarge the throttle body as well?

If Rylan Vos or Kevin Cross go with this, I'm in. It would be just a matter of when at that point.

I’m sure head work and a bigger valve body will set yo7 back another 1k. Also i would think a change over to the Maximus would be in order.

The way I see this new kit is for about the same price as the Lloyds 116" kit, you get Nikasil lined cylinders. To me, this makes it much more like the original design, just 117" instead of 106". Of course the additional mods are the same; cams, intake, exhaust, tuning etc. When given the choice for my CCT, I'll take Nikasil lined over iron liners each and every time. Others are fine with iron liners and I'm sincerely happy for them. Me, no thank you.

I'm thrilled Revolution Performance didn't ditch this whole project after Polaris killed off their Victory brand.

Nikasil cant be bored bigger or rehoned without drama....but it shouldn't need either.
The iron liners could be taken out a bit larger if need be and pistons were available (say 117" from the 116" or 110" from my 109")
Nice to know I can go a tad bigger in a few hundred thousand miles should the need arise.
Best of both worlds one could say....

Apparently Nikasil can be honed out without too much drama by a company like Revolution Performance. But I get your point, it's a very small number of companies that even could do this. I'd guess a whole lot smaller than the number of companies who could bore and insert a steel liner. In theory, with enough time and money just about anything 'could' be done though.

What turned me off of the steel liner option was when I talked to a Victory tuner I trust 100%. He thought I'd have to fog the engine anytime the weather got cold enough to snow or leave a heavy frost. That, or risk rusting cylinder walls thereby ruining the engine with one start up. Fog the engine, in Chattanooga, TN, no thank you, I passed on that note. And yes, I warm up the 106" as recommended for the steel liner BB kit. That part isn't a deal breaker for me.

Maybe I'm over simplifying this but it seems a Nikasil 117" kit would be just it came from the factory. Then add intake, exhaust, tuning changes etc. as money and desires allow. Making the 117" kit more of a 'designed in' system than an 'added on' system and I'm all for that. Currently my main interest in the Revolution Performance BB Kit is to see what Rylon Vos and Kevin Cross think of it. As posted earlier, if these two go for it, that's the marker I'd use to move on it.

If I'm over thinking this, please let me know your thoughts.

Randy is doing them now too..just saw it on his website this morning. I'm gonna call later and see what it runs as well as what gains over what I have with a cammed and dialed in 106. Revolution web shows 30 HP gains. I have that now. Wondering what else needs to be added to push her up at least another 10-20 H?

OTOH their shop is only about 2 hours away in Wisconsin.... :)

Randy's will certainly treat you right. I think the Rev Perf 117" kit is a starting point. Like any other engine build, it will require the right cams, a larger throttle body, air filter, exhaust, timing, tune etc etc etc. I did see where KMC posted big numbers from one of his Rev Perf 117" builds on his Facebook page. I suspect the one Randy's did recently would have to get a proper tune for the best results.
I too am anxious to get the actual costs of this modification and what else my CCT would need to get the biggest bang for the buck. I've read a few times that Revolution Performance has been and still is an oem vendor for Polaris with the Victory and Indian engines. Basically our 106" heads and cylinders came to Polaris through Rev Perf so having them make them in 117" is really like it would have come from the factory that way to begin with.
But when you go to Randy's, don't be trading your beautiful Victory in on one of their new Urals. :)

I've always read his dyno is a 'bit' optimistic where KevinX and The Vic Shop always say their dyno's are stingy. But wow, those are awesome numbers! Even if the same setup would be a few number less elsewhere, those numbers are as solid as it gets. Congratulations to Kyle and the entire KMC team.

Yeah I saw that! But 16-20K for a Ural? I remember you could get that setup for about 4K. Last I remember those older ones also had a top end of like 57 MPH. Now its around 70 MPH.

I always liked the looks, but hell man at that price I have my doubts as to them selling very long.
