Hello,
just a short message from a Rhody (R.I.) Rider. I have a 13 CCT in
big Imperial blue. Switched from an air cooled / shaft drive Vulcan 1600 that I rode for 8 years and 40k miles with never a problem.
Took a little while to get comfortable with the whole idea but I went all in and made the commitment. Just returned from Americade with it and it ran flawlessly. All the Victorys at Americade stood out from the crowd. They got lots of looks and favorable comments.
I'm 59 yrs old and this is my first air cooled bike since my 1974 Kawasaki 903 Z1b.
Other bikes: 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600
2000 Kawasaki Concours CG1000

Thanks for all the great info on the site. It has saved me a couple of times already and look forward to more input.

thanks,
willy makit

You've made some good choices. A nice bike. A good trip and a positive experience. Good luck and ride safe.

Hey Willy,

Congrats on the new XCT! Me and the Mrs. got lots of positive comments and questions from many at Americade as well.

But, did you happen to notice the tiny Victory Banners along the fence on Canada street where the Demo rides were happening? Many of the MFG's had giant banners attached to the fencing, while Ma Vic had teeny weeny banners scattered amongst the behemoth. I got a good chuckle out of that. :D
