Me and two friends came up from Florida to Suches, GA for a long weekend of riding in the mountains. We had a good ride today in N. Georgia and tomorrow will go north to the Cherohala Skyway, the Dragon, and Moonshiner. Then on Sunday we will rider around N. Georgia again - hopefully before the rain sets in.

Ran the Dragon today. We are riding the Moonshiner, to Dragon, to Foothills Pkwy, thru the Smokey Mountain National Park to Gatlinburg tomorrow. Now sure of our route back.
Staying at the Two Wheel Inn...
To me, it’s always a good idea to always carry two sacks of something when you walk around. That way, if anybody says, “Hey, can you give me a hand?,” you can say, “Sorry, got these sacks.”
We road about 300 miles today over 9 hrs. Went from Suches, GA to Robbinsville, west on Cherohala, north on 360 to 411 to 72 to the Dragon. East on the Dragon with no traffic our way but lots of westbound traffic (bikes and cars), then 129 from Deal's Gap to Robbinsville (awesome 70-80 mph ride through large sweepers), and then back to Suches. Cool in the morning and warm in the afternoon. Actually a bit cold from Blairsville, GA to Suches, GA on the way home. Hit the Cherohala from about 11:15 to 12:15 and the Dragon from about 1:15 to 1:45. Great day.
Avoid the one main road through Helen on weekends between about 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at all costs. It is a total parking lot. Cars and bikes can be backed up for literally 2 miles of barely moving traffic and it can take an hour to get through Helen.

Portland chainsaw parts
Victory Forums LoungeI bought a 14" Portland electric chainsaw at Harbor Freight a couple of years ago. I went up to get a new cutting chain. They do not carry chains and said I would have to order it on line. I can't find anything on line and the store is no help. Anyone have any ideas?- 3

Serious motorcycle accident
