I am taking a road trip from Apopka, FL to Yellowstone and back... and would like to have some evening company along the way. I like to have breakfast together, then map our own unique routes, then ride most of it alone , and meet up at the end of the day for conversation and tall tales of the days experience. Anyone interested in getting away for a month or so??? Skip

I kind of see where you are coming from, but not really. The point of riding with someone is to, ride with someone. I feel it becomes too much of a case of "maybe if you were there you'd know what I'm talking about". Plus you lose many other advantages of riding with someone. Safety, bike issue, etc.

What time of the year will you be out here,Wyoming?I'm heading out Florida way on Mem. Day. weekend, maybe we'll pass each other going the oposite direction.Anyway if you're in the neighborhood I'd
meet up somewheres for breakfast.Just a note Beartooth Bike rally weekend of July 21st,Red Lodge Mt.E-NE entrance to the Park is a great ride and a lot of fun,Chief Joseph Highway etc.weekend of July 12th there's a Vic. rally over by Challis Id. Beautiful ride over to Central Id. about 280 mi. from West Yellowstone.I'll be in Red Lodge for sure and going to try to be in Challis although I didn't register but it's all about the ride over.I'll ride solo, with a group (as long as they're not boneheads) it doesn't matter.

I would hope he's talking about soon. In another month or so it's going to be brutally hot weather along most of that route...especially coming back. Nothing quite like 8 hours in a blast furnace to take the fun out of a trip like that... ;)

LOL... first of all... it's never too hot for me!

Secondly... much earlier than June thru Utah, Colorado, Idaho, etc... high risk of freezing weather and snow. Once got three feet dumped on me in Colorado on the 21st of May.

I agree dead indian pass and Beartooth highway are 2 roads that if your going that far don't miss them. They are fun to ride and beautiful. Also if you have time get to Glacer National Parks road to the sun another great ride in Montana. Have fun ride safe.
