Getting down to the short strokes on buying an exhaust and just have a couple of questions regarding baffle options. This decision is taking me far too long but I've not been able to hear either of my picks in real life. A couple of contributors helped me out on another thread however I'm still waffling.

Right now the RPW Big Slash, Thor and Freedom Sharp Curve Radius are the final choices and I'd like to know what's out there should I want to adjust the sound a bit. My bikes in the past have worn V&H exhaust and I've been able to get and modify after-market baffles to have the sound I liked. In those cases, the pipes are straight and it's a pretty simple process. From what I've been able to pick up from some threads here, the Thor has a tapered baffle which would be more difficult for me to play around with. Possibly the same problem with the other two curved pipes but I just don't know. So, are there ready-made options for baffles from third party suppliers for these pipes and if you have some, who made them? I have found some manufacturers on the internet myself however none specify any of these models in particular.

Thanks

Thanks Ben but your reference to 'page 3 scroll to the very last post' is unclear, as there is no link.
Can you post a hyperlink?
Thanks

Thanks for the input and the links gents. After reading a lot of different threads and getting some valued input on this and two other threads from people like yourselves and especially talking to Garry at RPW I decided to go with the Big Deal. Most of their pipes were in the running however I was seriously leaning towards the Big Slash. It looked good on the bikes I was able to find on-line however I noticed most were Vegas's. The KP's rear fender stretches the bike out quite a bit more and I felt the BS just wasn't long enough for the look. The order went into Metric Thunder primarily due to the positive recommendations on this and another forum. I screwed up the order but we talked a bit on the phone and Jim straightened it out for me.(big thanks) Once it gets shipped I'm one of the people who will check the tracking number a few times a day just to see where it is.

A couple of other things I'd like to get done over the winter as well but so far no firm plans.

i ment for you to search..anyway the last post shows a picture of the 50 mm perforated tube i fitted to mine.you could prob use 45 mm(a 2001 gsxr suzuki makes 160hp and the outlet diameter is 40mm) without affecting performance as that is the header pipe diameter .here's the link
