I put RPW's on my 2010 crossroads as soon as i got it, love the bike but had to get a better sound. I have a ness pc and a lloydz idle air valve also. The sound is 100%better,but the performance was not as good as it could be.I started looking on this site and noticed a lot of people in the same boat, then KevinX came to our rescue and schooled us all. Remove the air filter strip and install performance filter, and you have to disconect both o2 sensors. The bike runs as good as it sounds now ,I could,nt be happier.cheers

Thank you I have a PC5 but I haven't installed. I couldn't get the clips off the injector so left it off for the trip I just returned from. At age 1 needs help!
I don't want have t pay too much "tax" to deepen it up, the D&D guys just put em on and pull the sensors

Are your s real deep? How's the popping? I have some on decell from time to time

Thx

I have RPW exhaust. And, it is a really nice deep tone. What I would describe as a muscle car sound. I have the performance air filter, and stage 1 ECM flash. But, I had some popping at first, so I disconnected the O2 senors, and that cleared up 90% of the popping. There is only a little popping on really hard accel or deccel... I will remove the air filter strip at the next service or when my Dad is in town to lend an extra set of hands on the tank, so I don't break the nipple off the fuel pump...

RPWs here. They are deep and mellow at idle or low throttle openings, but they BARK when you crack it, or get on it moderately hard (not necessarily WOT). I'm looking to quieten down mine today with a custom baffle, but that's a preference thing. You may want LOUD but I only want loud. :)

Popping has more to do with tuning and gas leaks than which exhaust is better than XX. Get your bike tuned, check all seal points (you will be able to feel gas leaks with your hands hovering over junctions), and consider an adjustable IAV if you are still popping even with those items addressed.

Best of luck
