Hi today I changed the vic's oil I use motul twin syn..
Any way after much research I have gone to z411 Ryco filters
About $8 each here in Australia..
Anyway just to let ausy members in on a way to save a buck..if tempted..

Im using WZ429 in Cooper oil filter for $5

Ahhh just cross referenced both the Z411 and Z429 and theres only
.5mm diff in outside diameter and 2mm in outside seal diameter. Threads are the same.
Given the engines wide seal area both filters could be used.
Handy to know if one is unavailable theres another alternative thatd work. Also Ryco is probably better quality filter so I may go to that for extra coupla bucks. Still way cheaper than the $19 Vic filter.

What I didn't expect was that Ryco have a range of motorcycle filters..probably same price as OEM.

And not motorcycle specific either.
Thier both car filters that happen to fit.
Similar size and same thread.

Yes z411 is a car filter I bought 8 .as I will also use on our Polaris quads,
I have no idea of the cost of the motorcycle specific ones just saw them on rycos web site.
