Maybe this shows my ignorance but if it helps someone else avoid this, great. Removed reverse from one cct to another cct. Everything seemed normal for a few hundred miles. Plastic cover above the starter solenoid is held on from above the battery box by a small round head screw. I found out the hard way I can turn that screw too far in. It will make contact with the battery side of the starter solenoid. I ground at least 1/4 or more off that screw. If you are in there notice how close that screw is to that terminal. I caused myself a lot of unnecessary work before I discovered it.
