I think you mean CC or XC
CR is for cross roads
Hahaha :ltr:

You can't blame the outsiders saying that, especially since the forum members themselves can't post their bike in the right thread. Why do XC riders keep posting their pics in the Show off your Cross Roads thread? Maybe they think they've got the Cross Roads with the fairing! :ltr:

LOL. You didn't live up to the forum's expectations, so you've been deemed an outsider! :ltr: I'm kidding. Sorry, I thought you posted that with a serious tone, and didn't realize you were joking.

Where did you post the pic? In this thread? It's possible that Diamond was test driving his new eraser again, or maybe he moved your thread to another forum! :ltr:

Ok, I'm in a very jokenly mood today. :D

You have post #4 in this thread, and the reason the image is gone, is because you linked it from elsewhere (http://travisalicia.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/Victory/20100327-MG2786/822388816_c4mB6-M.jpg to be speicific, and that link changed). Instead, you have to attach it to your post. You can go back to your original post, and edit it. See this for instructions on how to attach images.

Boy it was gorgeous today!!! Low 70's in Feb :crzy: My wife and I jumped at it! We took off and to run some errands on the bike. Then my wife got the bug and said lets go for a long ride!

Shoot ask me twice! After 200 miles I got home and decided to give the Crossroads a bath then it was still so pretty I field stripped the bike and went nuts! Here are a few pics after claying, cutting, polish, and 3 coats of wax!

Your bike looks better then show room condition.
Like you I get the most pleasure cleaning my bike. Its fun to tell people no I just didn't buy it I take pride in what I ride.
We just got 17 inches of new snow so I wouldn't be riding for a while and am looking forward to take the can of wax to the bike.
Have a great summer of ridding.thumb up

Ya I was brought up by a father that had a love affair with his cars. He brought me up with the same mentality that you take care of what you got even if it is not the best ride on the block!

He was a paint and body guy so if I was not working on his I was working on his friends or doing roofing for my Uncle (much rather work on the cars) I still do this for my friends on the side for extra chrome money! I can take any car or bike without clear coat failure and I can make it look like new!

I have a blacked out Super Crew F250 with the 8 foot bed. It takes me an hour just to wash the damn thing much less claying, cutting, polishing and sealing the beast .... boy does it look sharp when I am done!!! cheers

Thanks for the kind words - we are getting snow tonight! Our mini break in the weather is OVER!!!

As you might be able to tell I live out in the country. Deer are a HUGE issue and the passing lamps but a awesome amount of light off without being in High. They are stock and when i go to high they turn off, with them on with the low beam headlamp I see better then with high beam.

Could someone post a photo of a XC with the luggage rack from the rear. A closeup where the antenna and rack meet and 1 looking somewhat downward at the front of the rack where the rear passenger backrest meets.

I am in the process making a luggage rack. The photos would be of a tremendous help.

Thanks guys

dd
Did you ever get that picture, Diamond? If not I have a Vic rack, but the antenna is not Vic. I made my own bracket for the J&M CB antenna. Here's a look-see. Hope it's not too late and is helpful.

Here's a Cross Roads picture that's a bit different. I entered a four day three night event last summer, which ended at a big casino where we were to spend the last night and have the banquet. As we pulled up to the casino, we were directed to a side door and told to enter there with our bikes. A red carpet was laid before the door and it led us into the banquet room. All 80+ bikes in the event got to park inside, on carpeting, for the night. It was neat to see all those various bikes around us as we dined and had the end-of-the-run festivities. Note that the only two Victorys on the run were parked together.

No it's not too late. Yes this will help.
I have had several bike brought in for work so I have been busy trying to get caught up.
I am afraid it will get worse as the weather gets better. I have another coming in Saturday.
Thank you

I can take some pics that would more accurately show what you need, just ask. Of course, the rack and the antenna shouldn't interfere with each other, and for aesthetics, you want the angle of the antenna to be the same as the forks, windscreen and rear cylinder. Look at the profile of any bike (and cars too) and note the repetition of similar angles and lines. See my top photo and compare the fork angle to the antenna.

Please show me some photos of the rear. A direct rear view is what I need. I have put together some photos already but a direct rear view is what I need.
I'm not concerned about the antenna. My design accommodates the antenna. I want something totally different just like our bikes are.
