Brad did you have to adjust anything when you put the License Plate bracket on? I wasn't for sure if the adjustment bolts would hold when I removed the axle nut. Also is your tool bag blocking your oil cooler?

Highball Pics - Northern NJ

Here are some pics of my Highball. Sorry about the low light. Took them at dusk. Will have some better ones soon.

I do sometimes take off the passenger seat set up so I go from a 100% 1 up config to full touring with shield, passenger backrest and leather bags.

No, the adjustment bolts do not move if the axle nut is loosened, they are always on tension unless your belt is loose. The small bag sits below the oil cooler and does not obstruct it.

Since these pics were taken, I finally got my Black DEI high temp coating sprayed onto the pipes so now they're fully black.

love the set up eddie, a lot similiar to what im doing except i canceled my MBW swingarm plate bracket due to no response from the company after 1 and a half months so im machining it as we speak.

the pipes really set yours off from others, reminds me of the conquest customs ground pounders

I replaced my turn signals with MBW in the front and Xenolen black skulls in the rear.Removed the top belt cover and the reflectors from the front. Also removed the front fender, at least for the time being. Plan on reinstalling after I paint something on it.

Rode mine back home from work in the rain last week. The front fender wasn't much help in keeping me dry. After seeing these pics I'm going out to pull mine off too.

I'm working on building the mounts to put a tractor seat with a T-bar and springs on mine. I've about got the design finished. Now I've got to build it. I'll post pics when it's done.

Looks awesome. Nice, without being too over done.

I road the Dragon's Tail this weekend. Here is one of the photos from one of the photo guys there. I dragged the pegs and pipes a little right after he snapped the picture.

I got one!!

I got my Highball last week! I named her Norma Jean 'cause she's an old-fashioned girl. I LOVE THIS BIKE!! The pics are from outside the dealership right after I bought it. So far I've got Battistini grips and Slash-ness pipes. I'm in the process of installing shaved signals and have the pegs to match the grips on order. More pics when she's done

I've got the lowering links on order. I'll probably wait until my first oil change to put 'em on, cause you gotta remove the oil filter to get to the bolts.

Lowering links

I've lowered a few bikes.

The High Ball sets 1" lower then the Vegas.
Tonight i was dragging pegs in parking lots while practicing my figure 8's. I wouldn't lower this bike myself. It's too low already and will effect the suspension too I would think.

Also, if you lower you should drop the front end as well otherwise the headlight will be aimed high.

Let's see it after you make the change. Let us know what you think. It will definitely be a sled.

Cheers
Ken
