Well, when you lay the bike down and slide 70 feet you are bound to need some new mods. I'll just list them all, rather than just the recent ones.

Performance Mods (All done by Arlen Ness's shop before I bought it):

bike looks great, but i do have one question...

why leave the rear turn signals if you took the fronts off? why not just leave them all off ?

Oops, I guess I didn't do all those mods myself. Ness did the license/blinker assembly delete and mounted rear taillights. I installed new taillights only. Couldn't leave empty holes in the rear fender.

I only deleted the front turn signals for now. I haven't been able to find something I like as a replacement. The only lights I've liked so far have the wiring through the mounting bolt and the only mounts I've found so far won't accommodate wiring on the inside. Thought about the fork wrap LED ones, but they are expensive for something I don't really like the looks of.

Those MBW products are all high priced. Nice; but high priced. Check out these places for alternatives.

I like how the fork wrap signal look as far as the minimalistic look goes but I doubt they put out as much attention-getting light as something more substantial. For the price; these Chinee LED lights might work for you. You would need some kind of fork attachment for them.

Nothing like having a car turn left in front of you because they couldn't see your turn signals to ruin half a year or worse.

One word of caution regardless of what turn signals you use on the front; be sure to be careful to get the wiring right because one side is reversed for some crazy reason and if it's installed wrong; it'll blow out your auto canceling module. A $200 part.

I started looking again, found something I like.


Should fit since I have the 7" headlight and we all know it's a larger can than average. Then I would also have an LED headlight. All for cheaper than the MBW and custom dynamics turn signals.

If I do this, I only use one wire from the turn signal harness anyway. Found a guy that would make a harness so I could plug and play the headlight since the HD's the light is made for are a single Hi/Lo bulb and we have a separate Hi and Lo bulb. I'm comfortable enough making my own harness for the turn signals.

Just when I thought I was done spending money for a while.....

So I got the light installed and am really happy with it so far. It's super bright and has built in turn signals so I'm legal again. Victory didn't do us any damn favors on the wiring. Figured out both hi and low beam bulbs are wired backwards (or else the harnesses I bought were wired backwards) so my red leads on my self made H8/H11 adaptor are my grounds. Then figured out one blinker harness is wired normal but the other is backward, so one blinker harness has the colored wire as power, and the other has the black wire as power and colored wire as ground. These are factory harnesses I clipped off the original blinkers so I know I didn't mess that part up. All the power wires are colored coming up to the harnesses, they just have the pins in the plug switched. I would take some pictures of the wiring but I already have it buttoned up and don't want to take it apart again.
