Is it just a small scratch in the liner? If so, keep the tank full as much as you can, especially in winter. Add a bit of Marvel Mystery Oil every time you fuel up. Do that for many reasons. If bare metal has been exposed, you'll want to keep air away from that spot.
Is it really a scrape or an optical illusion?

I had some paint chips, from inside the tank on a BMW... dealer said no big deal, many years later tank was a rusted mess inside... pretty sure the inside coating was defective, I would bitch and moan about it, it probably won't be a problem for a long time, but when it is, you'll wish you had made a stink about it.

I assume you are talking about the opening where the gas cap latch rubs. If so there is nothing to worry about as all of them will do it.

That coating is going to rub off from the lock/latch no matter how careful you try to be.
