Hello from Valdosta area. Don't presently own a Victory but thinking of getting one in the near future. Thought would introduce myself and hang around a bit and find out more about them.

Lake Park

Know it well. I'll be down there for the Outback Riders Christmas Toy Ride in December. Last year we had over 3000 riders. It made for a busy Saturday morning.

Welcome to the forum! You'll find a lot of useful information here.
All it'll do is convince you to get one, so you might just go for it while the incentives still are there :)

BTW You've made your first three posts here (forum requirement), so you can post in the other areas as well, and don't forget to update your profile and your signature.

Welcome, Valdosta is where the Pres of the GN/GS club is from. Lasseters i believe. It's the GSCA I sold my 86' Buick GN and ended up with A Victory Hammer 8 Ball. Same concept, except my Vic doesn't have a turbo(yet)

We've got twin bikes!

Hey, I wanted to post to you last night that I also bought the black 2012 Cross Country yesterday. It took me awhile to figure out I had to post here first. Anyway, looks like we have the same bike. Hopefully we'll both have good luck with them, too!

You're lucky living in FL, you can ride straight through the winter. I've got snow ahead of me in NY so my riding time is getting short. I agree the bike rocks and I also agree that I've got to do something about the buffeting. I bought the bike knowing that. For me, it's not so much buffeting but just the constant wind coming over the windshield. It's too low for me. I expect I'll get the taller shield and some lowers in time. The Madstad brackets sound interesting, too, for adjusting the height and angle. Oh yeah, love the pics - I think I'm looking at my own bike!
