Hey there,

I have a Sounddock air connected to the iPod cable in the saddlebags. It hooks up to my Android phone via Bluetooth. It works excellent, however on occasion when I go to reduce the volume, the sound cuts out.

I have to actually turn the bike off and back on in order to get it working again. I've tried unpairing and repairing the device, as well as unplugging it. The only thing that works is turning the bike off. Has anyone else had this issue with the sound off there?

I'm going to try some of the devices, like an iPod, to see if it will do it then. I just want to know if anyone else has run into this issue before.

Thank you all!

I haven't had this issue for about a week now.

Although it doesn't happen on a regular basis, it does happen from time to time. It's mostly when I go to turn the music down... it will just cut out, and that's it. I have to stop the bike, turn the key off, and back on... and then the music is back.

Sounds like bad Bluetooth connectivity. I hsve had stuff happen like this on Bluetooth speakers NOT on my bike.
