Does anyone have any knowledge/experience with the
K-racing Victory Cross Roads Cross Country Saddle Bag 6x9 Speaker Lids?
Could even be a set of 8" Lids.

Looking for a set, and not with a separate tweeter pod.
Wanting injected molded style not fiberglass - better fitment, or so I've read. Thanks.

I just put on my CC bags Matusu 6x9 lids $388.00 with grills. they fit fine are you using your stock locks? I used aftermarket so I had to do some mods
Yes, I intend on using the stock locks. When I had my original lids painted, the locks were a b**ch to remove.
I ordered the Mutazu Black 6x9 Saddlebag Audio Speaker Lids and grills.
Also have a set of Ground Zero GZCF6.6SPL's going in the fairing as well as a set of Ground Zero GZCF 69SPL's for the new bag lids. Powering the speakers will be a SOUNDIGITAL 1200.4 EVOX 4 AMPLIFIER plus all appropriate wiring. I'm so tired of the trial and error method of mixing and matching amps/speakers just for the fairing, so I'm gonna be all in on this setup. Going to take a while to get everything done as I'm going to have to get the new lids painted to match the AF Green paint. Should be done in time for spring riding!

That sounds awesome. I've been looking at 'Diamond AudioMP694 6x9 or Cerwin Vega PH 694 both made by the same company but the Diamond is $300 more. haven't decided on an Amp. Will look at your set-up...Thanks,
I'm really liking the Sound Digital Amp I've doing research about it.
I get your concern about what you’ve heard about the fiberglass lids. Mine were made 6 years by Gino Pilolla and crew at Sykotic Indistrustries. They are fiberglass and have been flawless in fit and function. I wouldn’t hesitate to get another set.

Finally got the new lids painted and I'm ready to fit the speakers/grills. Then to wiring and swapping out the hinge and latch mechanisms. Shouldn't be long now.....

BTW, I got raped by the painter - cost almost $700.00 😥

Do you have the equipment, experience and materials to do the job professionally? If you do, why didn't you paint them yourself? If you don't, how do you figure you got raped? 🤔

Because prior to this paint job, a fellow forum member from Missouri painted the ones I have now and added flames to match the bike. He charged $300.00 which seemed very fair.
And I bought gasoline in 2020 for $1.90 a gallon, had to pay $4.70 a few days ago and thats almost triple what it was in 20, it's all relative.
I would say inflation affects EVERYTHING, and painting is not any different.
If you have been paying attention, you know who to blame, and they all congregate in a swampy place on the east coast, you really cannot blame an individual who is just trying to make a living. Just saying.
Speakers and grills installed in lids. Wiring from the amp to the rear is done. Going to reattach speaker lids, wire them up, and get to tuning today. LOL - am really hoping it was all worth it..... I'll post here when done and my initial thoughts.
How did the speaker lids turn out?
Hope to finalize the installation in the next few days (with pix). I'm making a couple of limiting straps (stainless cable) so the lids won't flop open and break the hinges/lids due to the added weight of the 6x9's. Also waiting on a set of bag lid bumpers (mounts above the lockset on the inside edge of the lids) from witchdoctors (should've already been here - said they were in stock, and live next door in IN.) I have auditioned the sound system, it's amazing..... Can't wait to get it all finished.

Finally received the 2 small lid bumpers from witchdoctors which were ordered on the 8th. Hoping to wrap up everything very soon. Had to make lid limiting straps due to the weight of the 6x9's. Made them from 1/8th stainless aircraft cable and some ferrules I crimped with a swaging tool.

Finally got the project finished. Will post some pix and info when I get a chance.
Switched out the 6.5" coax's in the fairing to components. Went with the GROUND ZERO GZCC 165.2SQL package but the tweeters in the kit were just too big, and no way to mount, so I swapped them out for Rockford Fosgate T2T-S Tweets that I mounted in a spare set of speaker grills. I can't justify doing anything else as the sound is now superb!! Pictures coming soon.......

Parts:
GROUND ZERO GZCC 165.2SQL
Ground Zero GZCF 69SPL
Rockford Fosgate T2T-S Power 1" Aluminum Tweeter Kit
SounDigital 1200.4 EVOX2 – 4Ω
Mutazu Bag Lids and grills
Painting the lids was about $700.xx Which was too much in my book.

I wish I could have found a used set of victory audio lids, the mutazu's are barely more than ok. Just not nearly as rigid as oem's.
