Hey All,

With the mild winter, I was able to start riding in January. At the end of Feb, I noticed that occasionally my speedometer would not be working - just be at zero. Then, after a stop, I'd look down and it was tracking the speed again. I think it's around correct when working, as I live in a place with some firm limits (on the main drags), so in the flow of traffic, it's accurate, but I have no idea why it just stays at zero after a stop or sometimes from startup.

It's not frequent, nor is it consistent, but it's been happening.

Anyone else deal with this?

you didn't say what year or model. Find the speed sensor and see if it's clean. Add some grease to the connector to see if that does it. Might just be a little cushion in contact

Good call, thanks VisionJohnny!

Mine is a 2006 Victory Vegas... just a Vic Vegas. :)

I'll check that out when I get home from my current trip (no bike with me atm).
