I have had 5 bikes with belts including four Victory brand bikes and have never sprayed any of the belts with anything. I clean the belts once in a great while (usually when replacing the rear tire) and make sure the belt alignment is properly adjusted. Other than that, go ride the bike and do not worry about spraying the belt with anything.

Learned a long time ago with the old car V belts. The spray can cause more problems. Yes it will quiet it down, but why is it squeaking? Alignment or else tension. My Kawasaki 900 had a squeak no mater what I did and the belt "dressings" really only make it collect more dirt and crap. If it has a squeak in between adjustments try rubbing the edge of belt with a bar of soap.
