Most of the country is enjoying the tail end of spring and looking forward to a summer spent killing bugs with a windshield or their face which ever happens to make contact first. Those of us in Wyoming have enjoyed a couple of decent weekends temperature wise but in between we've been pummeled by rain below the 6,000 foot elevation and snow anywhere above and in this part of the state (Northwest corner) there ain't a lot below 6,000 feet worth looking at.

Last Saturday I walked out into the kitchen around 11:00 in the morning and made myself a sandwich, stuffed a handful of chips into a ziploc bag then pointed my headlight towards Yellowstone and Lake Lodge about 75 miles from the house. As it turned out the weatherman was correct and I missed all but a light misting of rain although coming back over Sylvan Pass on my way out the snow was coming down hard enough that the visibility got a little iffy.

By next weekend the highway department is supposed to have Beartooth Pass opened up but I have my doubts about whether they can pull it off this year.

Here in MN. we have had 6 days of rain. Not the kind you want to ride in.
Sounds like you had a real pretty day

Spring time in East TN/SW VA was great yesterday, rode all day. Today and the rest of the week is nothing but a soggy mess.

I see your bike is sporting a snow camouflage scheme. You run off the road and they won't find you until it melts. :grin

Glad you got out.

Yeah I really like the white bike, it hardly ever needs a bath. Good thing too, every time I go near it with a garden hose it throws an error code. Rain doesn't bother it at all but apparently it hates baths.
